Trademark Renewals

After your trademark registers, additional filings are required to maintain protection.  The first renewal is required between the 5th and 6th year after registration.  The second is due between the 9th and 10th years.  Additional renewals are due every ten years, thereafter.  

​Failure to file these renewals on time may result in abandonment of the registration and you would have to file a brand new application to try to protect your mark.
